The Sainj – Tirthan Valley Trek is a spectacular cross-valley adventure that connects two of the most scenic regions within the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP). Beginning in the lush meadows of Sainj Valley, this moderate to challenging trek winds through pristine alpine forests, high-altitude ridgelines, and traditional Himalayan hamlets before descending into the equally stunning Tirthan Valley.

The Sainj – Tirthan Valley Trek also allows trekkers to witness the seamless transition between the two valleys, both rich in biodiversity and cultural heritage. The peaceful route is dotted with crystal-clear streams and ancient forest paths, making it a true wilderness escape.
Permits must be obtained from GHNP authorities before starting the trek. While it is possible to do the trek solo, hiring an experienced local guide is highly recommended for safety and insight into the region’s ecology and traditions.
